What this is about
If you reached this page from a letter or message I sent you, I contacted you as a representative of your company. This page explains which data I used, why, and what your rights are.
Which data
Name, role, and business contact details (company postal address, where applicable a business email address or LinkedIn profile). No private data.
Where it came from
Publicly available sources: your company website’s legal notice or team page, the commercial register, press coverage, or your public LinkedIn profile.
Purpose
A single, personal business contact: a request for a short professional conversation as part of research into decision-making in mid-sized industrial companies. No product is advertised, and the data is not used for automated bulk mailings.
Legal basis
Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, legitimate interest in business-to-business contact with decision-makers (see Recital 47). I have weighed that a single, targeted contact via publicly available business details does not unduly affect your interests.
Retention
If you do not reply, I delete your data no later than twelve months after contact. If you tell me you don’t want contact, I delete it immediately and add your name to an internal do-not-contact list.
Recipients
None. Your data is not shared with third parties or processed outside the EU/EEA.
Your rights
Access, rectification, erasure, restriction, and the right to object at any time (Art. 21 GDPR). One sentence to [email protected] is enough, and you will not hear from me again. You may also complain to a supervisory authority: in Austria the Datenschutzbehörde (dsb.gv.at), in Germany your state authority, in Croatia AZOP (azop.hr).
No automated decision-making or profiling
No automated decision-making or profiling takes place.
